Enroll Android device in BYOD

Enroll Android device in BYOD

Introduction

AGE supports the use of personal mobile devices (Android and iOS based only) for accessing AGE resources.

Personal mobile devices must be enrolled in AGE mobile device management in order to use mobile applications to access AGE resources. Enrolled devices must comply with AGE imposed security restrictions e.g., device encryption, passcodes etc. or the device will be marked as non-compliant and restricted from accessing AGE resources. These security restrictions may change at any time based on new requirements or active threats etc. If the device is marked as non-compliant, the Company Portal application (which you will install below) will inform you of the specific settings that need to be updated to reach compliance.

Enrolling a device will allow AGE to manage AGE information on mobile devices including the ability to wipe AGE information from the device. At no time will AGE have access to personal information on the device nor will AGE change any settings on the device to force compliance. It is up to the end user to manage their device settings and bring them into compliance.
